CRCA High Carbon Steel Strip Spring Steel Empowered with dedicated manpower and well equipped infrastructural facility, we bring forth an array of CRCA High Carbon Steel Strips. High carbon steel coils contain from 0.7 to 1.00% C with manganese. These high carbon steels are commonly known as spring steel. These are generally high stresses and high treated to obtain the maximum elastic limits, without becoming sufficiently brittle to cause sudden failure in service. Hardened steel is very important because only full hardened springs have the maximum ability to take a permanent set (sagging).
High Carbon Steel Strip combines ease of fabrication with good strength and surface finish, is valued for its strength properties and operates at significantly higher levels than the mild steel grades. High carbon steel strip can be finished to meet the needs of a wide range of products. Where tensile strength and hardness are required, High Carbon steels are the material of choice. These can be supplied heat treated and tempered in thickness’s of between 0.10mm and 7.00mm, and widths of between 4.00mm and 650mm. Edges can be dressed and de-burred or rounded. High Carbon spring steels are ideal for the manufacture of Precision Pressings and Springs.
